Today's Politics.......

Today, politics is just an entertainment for many people. During my childhood, I used to remember the names of different politicians and their works. But, today I feel that there is no use of it. Many politicians don't even know the work they have to do as a leader. Many come to politics just for the sake of growing their personal wealth. That is why still India is called a developing country. Many people don't know who is the president of our country? Is it our mistake? No it's not our mistake,because many people have started ignoring whats going on in politics just because of the work ethics shown by most of the leaders.Many people already came to a conclusion that politics is only for people who have some background.Many places still don't have the proper electricity, water supply and many more.... But no one(politician) cares. Because every one(politician) is busy in looting.
That is why most of the youth started unsubscribing politics. Who is responsible for this? There are some politicians(leaders) who do good things, but never get proper recognition because of family politics, which we call nepotism. Every person in our country knows that, money is distributed to each person before elections, but no one speaks about it. People accept the money so happily because, they know that these politicians do nothing for them.Most of the politicians just brag about the schemes during election campaigns but we all know the worst reality. How many of you believe that politicians should have a degree? (do reply in comments). I strongly agree with this statement because, if a politician has minimum education qualification, he/she can better understand the query and will implement them properly. Some people say that, to do good things we should have good heart, but not the good education. It is not always true. Very often we hear that politicians are involved in corruption, but no one cares about it. This is the situation of politics in India, today. People started considering politics as a minor issue. If this continues then India may face worst consequences in future. From past few years I never heard of a proper assembly session which concluded with a good decision that might benefit the people. We heard that, "Government of the people, by the people, for the people". But, I strongly feel that "government for the people" is missing now a days.We don't need politicians who always strive for their own development but we need leaders who strive for the development of the nation.

I agree with your content. But the thing is really wanted to know how far are you taking an initiative to stop all these. And yes giving money to people before Elections isn't correct butt the fact is that mistake is ours. If we don't take money why will they give!!If illetrates or villagers are taking then it is understood but even the Literates act the same as Idiots.

If we as aaa common person arent accepting money,if we areaare not allowing any corruption to happen, if we aren't allowing any injustice to happen anywhere then why won't our Country Develope??We being the present youth of the Nation it is our responsibility to work for the development of our country..
And my answer to your question is ... They need to have minimum qualification... And I don't think having a degree will really change the situations in our country. Because in our own state itself many politicians are well Qualified but I don't think they are doing a good job. And I agree with you another main problem is Nepotism... And this will never come to an end unless people raise their voice .
Yes,I too agree that we the citizens are the ones that are letting our nation down.But do you think a common man willingly encourages corruption to get his work done?Absolutely no,It depends on the situation he/she is in.Currently our system is in such a state that,if you need to get your work done,you need to bribe the officials.I know that the citizens(some rich) have started this culture of bribing because they need to get their work done as quickly as possible.But now this has become a common practice and we are in such a state that if an official does our work without taking any bribe then that will be a big news.So who is wrong?If the officials follow some work ethics and if the citizens are aware of their rights then we can atleast reduce some portion of corruption.
