For the past few weeks, I was deeply immersed in the journey of  Blinkit  through the book  Buildit . It made me laugh, reflect, feel inspired, and experience the emotional highs and lows that come with building something meaningful. The book beautifully captures the important phases in Blinkit’s journey — the challenges, decisions, failures, pivots, and growth that shaped the company over time. More than just a startup story, it highlights how people with enthusiasm, ownership, and belief can build extraordinary things. One aspect that stood out to me was how organizations can bring out the best in their employees by genuinely addressing their problems and creating an environment where individuals feel valued. At the same time, it also shows how employees themselves can create immense impact when they take responsibility and contribute beyond expectations. Another strong takeaway was the role of attitude. ₹1 → ₹365

🌱 The Beginning On June 17, 2024 , I started something extremely simple — saving ₹1 on Day 1 . No big financial goal. No complex strategy. Just a small step towards building discipline and consistency . The idea was straightforward: Day 1 → ₹1 Day 2 → ₹2 Day 3 → ₹3 …and so on. That small decision made all the difference. 🔥 The Turning Point This wasn’t just about saving money anymore. It became about: Showing up even after breaks Continuing instead of restarting Building consistency over perfection Slowly, this turned into a personal challenge...

I spent about five minutes browsing through the shelves. I picked up a self-help book, flipped through a few pages, but something didn’t feel right. It didn’t connect. I was about to leave the stall empty-handed when, almost by chance, a book placed on a lower rack—around waist height—caught my attention. I picked it up. The title read: “Discovering India through the eyes of Groww.” Without overthinking, and perhaps just trusting the name Groww , I bought it. A Flight Like No Other Once I boarded the flight, I casually opened the book—and that’s when everything changed. From the very first few pages, I was hooked. The book was so engaging that I never felt disconnected for even a mo...
